2014 Diesel 4matic Wagon?
Everything I have read says we are getting the four cylinder diesel 4matic sedan. Also the gas 4matic wagon. Has anyone seen anything about a diesel 4matic wagon. I bet they could sell at least 7 or 8 of them here in the USA. I want one. Anything?

I would love that option also. I think they could sell 7-8 to members of this forum...

Sadly highly unlikely. Americans don't like wagons -- they have the 70s Mom vibe so many people hate, and we're hooked on trucky SUVs that very few other countries buy in any numbers. There's a reason Audi, Volvo, Subaru, Honda, Toyota basically don't ship wagons here anymore (unless you count specialty vehicles like the a4 allroad which is nice but small)...
So MB sells few wagons here, and most are special order. Dealer I bought ours from said that 1 in 200 or so that he sells are wagons, and he had to special order ours. Despite being one of the highest volume dealers on the East Coast, he had personally never SEEN a luxury wagon in the flesh before. Even showed it in the showroom for 2 weeks before we got it (we were on vacation).
In addition, apparently the EPA requires crash testing of every body style / drivetrain combo. That in itself requires the write-off of several cars for crash tests. So at a certain point it's just not financially viable to bring the cars over. Low demand, a high price of certification and a long options list mean we're lucky we get one wagon configuration...when every other manufacturer has given up.
How many model options are there on an ML in say the UK?
Sigh.
