Your significant other for (E-Class W212) owners only?
WTF?!
I'm planning on a sports car of some sort... 911, Maybe the 2014 vette.., or a used Aston Martin Vantage V8.
I don't mind boats, but they are so much work!
that's pretty cool! and the Aston? jealous!!!!!!
You are so right that they are a lot of work. Thats why I'm selling it. I estimated that I could own a $100K+ car for the cost of the boat, truck, etc. And still save money...
As far as the Aston is concerned, I haven't been able to get that one out of my mind since I test drove it in Dec ( posted pics earlier in this thread).
I love that Turbo 911.... That was one of my favorite 911 body styles.

I'm looking forward to driving a Virage when I go to Disney in March haha

Christ, you're bitter.
Please just move on to the Bimmer forums and leave us alone...we'll do just fine without your input.
Better roll those windows up, timid little gi... er "old man".
It's nice to read a different point of view sometime. A little diversity is always good. Excluding today, he is usually very civil. Personally, I would hate to see him leave.

And yes I don't see why sharing our new purchases if consolidated in the appropriate thread/s (i.e me not going into threads and out of nowhere bringing up "My F10" this or that) would be so frowned upon. Some people are simply sensitive. Not to mention, if "steelgrey" is the same person I'm thinking he is, he has an E-Coupe, not an E Sedan. Though who cares? My E-Class is officially gone now, btw.
I think it deserves an appropriate thread for its farewell, what say you, steel?
Im sure you are loving your 535 M Sport...very rare actually with the M Sport. Have you gotten the itch yet to chip it? My 535 is and it is night and day!

I haven't YET, but MAN I am thinking about it! How much do they run? I'd love Dinan or something OEM-approved. This thing is super fast to me right now, with the N55/SAT 8 Speed combo, so I can only imagine it with the Chip!
If I got drunk one night and drove my F10 into your living room telling you that you better love it and that it makes your M-B look and feel like a POS unworthy of my line of sight, then I apologize, as based on your random obsessive rant I don't know what else could have happened.

Why don't you be appropriate to the thread and post your second car to your W212? 'Cause I responded exactly with that, at the time of my post. It is YOU who has been dragging this good idea of a thread through the mud. Get over it, get on with it, and contribute.
Attacking someone's sense of finance now? How do you know my Lease terms? You making things up now re: "getting less mileage than I lease"? You can't even do that with BMW or Mercedes from what I know. Who do you think you are, Mr. C Coupe? I'm less than half your age, command some respect.
Why don't you post your second car to your non-existent "W212" and contribute to the thread at hand, instead of trying to drag the nice guys attempt at a solid subject of a thread through the dirt?
KA This is getting ridiculous. We have enjoyed your contributions for years but now is the time to move on. We will look forward to hearing from you again when you return to the fold
It's really not a big deal to me but I'll stick around just to spite the few weirdo's who get miffed that "one of theirs" could have jumped ship. Don't complain about the heat and call out "ridiculous" when it's you guys turning up the furnace. Perhaps you missed all the "E-attacks" by "steelgrey", yourself and a couple of others which were unprovoked.
And here's the significant other I had during the time I had my E. I drove it cross State seemingly hundreds of times, and it was insanely durable and reliable. Rarely ever washed it, parked it outside, and after over 2 years sold it for just $200 less than what I bought it for!
