It's really not a big deal to me but I'll stick around just to spite the few weirdo's who get miffed that "one of theirs" could have jumped ship. Don't complain about the heat and call out "ridiculous" when it's you guys turning up the furnace. Perhaps you missed all the "E-attacks" by "steelgrey", yourself and a couple of others which were unprovoked.

And here's the significant other I had during the time I had my E. I drove it cross State seemingly hundreds of times, and it was insanely durable and reliable. Rarely ever washed it, parked it outside, and after over 2 years sold it for just $200 less than what I bought it for!

You are such an ***!!!

Are you THAT sensitive where someone who gets a new car peeves you that much? You, steel and the sour-grapes club seem to care quite a bit. Where have I brought up my F10 anywhere but in two threads that I started that organically had it tied to the matter at hand? I didn't jack this thread big guy, look at steelgrey's obsessively whacked out comments in turning this thread ABOUT "me".

I'm not going anywhere, bud! I was but not anymore! NOW they'll have to ban me in order to get me to stop contributing to the W212 forum.

Some of you guys are waaaay too sensitive to keeping viewpoints conformed to your choice of vehicle. I could understand if I was ragging the W212 in every thread. I haven't done that once!

Where the hell were you guys when it was me battling all the W212 haters coming in here? I was like the lone ranger, now you guys are all pack-of-wolves-style!

Bring it on.

I haven't YET, but MAN I am thinking about it! How much do they run? I'd love Dinan or something OEM-approved. This thing is super fast to me right now, with the N55/SAT 8 Speed combo, so I can only imagine it with the Chip!
I wouldn't put too much into OEM approved as there really arent any. Best bet is one that is tried and true and i can vouch for which is Burger Motorsports. They have thousands of the tunes out there with no known problems and a hugely loyal following. It is CANbus integrated so from the steering wheel you can set the maps as well as control gauges to show iat, boost etc. Example: on mine i have the gas gauge set to be the boost gauge when i go over 50% throttle.

Check out their site and forum that is specific to just their tunes.

Enjoy the BMW.

And you are welcome here, on bmw forums or on porsche forums etc.. You dont have to own just be a fan!

OMG you sound like a 5yo. Again it has nothing to do with your "new car" We dont care about your "new car" especially a little 535
Anyway I wil add you to my ignore list (feel free to add me to yours) because it seems that you have turned into a childish-immature-troll.
Or maybe that is just the BMW personality finally breaking out from within you.
Good luck! Troll!

Packed away for the winter right now... as soon as the snow is gone, salt is washed off the roads, and its generally above 50 degrees, its time to have some fun.

You've lost your mind. Maybe it's that dry Vegas chill.

I haven't trolled here once, I'm GETTING trolled by those like yourself. You seem to care a lot about my car because it pisses you off to even hear about it, to the point where me even being here with it makes you consider me a "troll".

Good luck on another P-car. Absolutely love driving my '03 cab. Just picked up a CPO E350 '11 and its another great piece of German engineering (very impressed with the whole experience of buying to driving).

Best of both worlds - cruise in style with the E350 year round - 'drive like I stole it' as they say with the 911.

Currently have an '11 Toyota Tacoma and an '05 Toyota RAV4. Actually they are my wife's vehicles. Probably replace the RAV with a 2013 RAV when they finally get here.
In the past have owned Fiat 124 Spider, Nissan 300ZX and RX7 convertible as well as lots of sedans. Worst car ever was a Saab 900 Turbo.

My sigificant other is an Infiniti G Coupe (the E350 is wife/our family car). The G coupe is 180 degrees opposite of E. It has razor sharp reflexes in engine, transmission, gas pedal calibration, handling, brakes, etc. And beautiful to look at. It is short on luxury and interior space.

I've heard that about the Saab a few times, how was your experience with the RX7 and that very unique but hornet's nest of an engine?

Literally, the RX7 rotary engine was too hot. It was placed well back into the cabin and the operating temperature of a rotary is much higher than other engines. So, even on a balmy 70ish day with the top down, you had to run the A/C. Spoke with some other convertible owners and they had the same problem. Think hard top owners just got used to running the AC all the time. Also, it was very thirsty. Ran great otherwise-and looked fantastic. Put over 120,000 miles on it and replaced the clutch twice (my fault both times). Never had any other problems. Of course, this car was a 1987. Miata pretty well killed demand for an RX7 convertible.
Not sure rotary engines are worth the cost and effort.
Ironically on the Saab, never had problems with turbo. It was poor quality control and a lot of the parts from suppliers. Two of them are still major automotive parts suppliers, but don't ask for names.
