i'm sure you can get a better deal from parts.com or other sites. i'm not a big fan of those flaps but they could be helpful if you live in a rainy area.

I have had them on a couple of cars, but not sure they were effective. Did not get them on my "E." Lot of what you get is brake dust and in my experience splash guards do little to keep that off the car.

Thanks again. The parts are primed and will need to be installed and paint matched. I guess MB shouldn't raise any warranty objections, if the protruding flap struck something and caused some other original bodywork issues during daily driving, MB would not cover that anyway.

I haven't seen mud guards on a car in years, even longer on a benz.

Necessity is driving this, my car looks incredibly dirty every 2-3 days, everyday if it rains with the 100miles/day I'm putting on it. May have to experiment with a body kit - black guards, dam, sills, diffuser and custom rear spoiler to keep it clean.

i personally wouldn't get them, they make the car look ugly as hell.

The other option is to drive the car with the MB car cover on, take off the cover when I park it

Would be interested to see what you decide. THought of them myself for function not form but not sure how functionally they are? The seemingly complex installation is discouraging me as well.
