Fog Light?

2011 E550 coupe with the DRL LED. Do they act as a fog? As in, can they get brighter than just the DRL? If so, how does one accomplish this?

Bought the car used and wanted to figure this out.

Please don't kill me!

There were quite a few threads about this on this forum. From what I recall is that the fog lights were different on P1 and P2 cars? I forgot if that is also dependent on the year though. For P2 cars aren't the bixenons supposed to be acting as fog lights as well?

Never mind. I have P2. I noticed if I play with the headlight switch, I can get the drl to be bright for a minute then they will dim.

I have had my 2010 E550 (P2 with LED DRL) for a week now and I have the problem where my LED DRL's turn off at night.... They don't dim like everyone else's do. I have read the forum on the older threads and cannot find an answer to "how can I enable/disable the LED DRL's when I turn my headlights on." I would really appreciate someone's help on this issue since the LED's look nice at night!
