H&R Springs Installation DIY?
I just got my H&R springs from TireRack and am planning to DIY install them next weekend.
I've DIY'ed spring installs myself many years ago on a Honda Accord and Toyota Supra but it has been a long time and I want to make sure I do it right. I have a good-sized air compressor, 700+ft lb impact wrench, spring compressors, and a bunch of other tools.
Does anyone know if there are any DIY write-ups for changing the springs on the W212 (or any other Mercedes if it's the same procedure). I searched on this forum but could not find one.

Okay, I'll try my best to write-up a W212 springs-swap DIY and will try to take photos along the way. I'll need to convince the wife to come into the garage periodically to take the photos so I don't get my phone/camera dirty.

oh, i guess that means we'll see a lot of "after" pics, not during installation .

The W204 diy for springs is pretty much all you'd need for the W212, except it doesn't have torque specs or the exact size of E-sockets you'll need.
Don't try to use standard internal spring compressors on the rear. Others may have gotten away with it, but it's not worth the risk. Some also just drop the arm with no spring compressor. It's not my advice, and be very careful if you do it that way. Klann knockoff spring compressors can be bought for about $160 online.
