Defect in leather & wood steering wheel

My 2010 has the optional leather and wood steering wheel. During first year there was some wear along bottom left side of leather portion. Dealer had their paint and trim guy repair it. Looked fine and felt fine.
Now, it seems to have developed a very narrow ridge about 4 or so inches long on the lower left side.
Anybody know what could be causing this?
Any TSB's or campaigns on the leather & wood wheels?
Thanks
