Dr. Color Chip. Question---HELP

My wife's 2013 now has 2 scratches in the front bumper. They are down to the bumper itself ( not surface scratches );but NO damage to the bumper. Longest scratch is 3-4 inches and not wide. Paint is Iridium Silver.

Appreciate info from anyone who has done this or similar paint repair w/ Dr Color Chip product. Best estimate that I have is to repaint entire front bumper for $250. Plan to keep the GLK a loooong time.

I have used Dr. Colorchip on several of my cars including my 2012 Iridium Silver E550. It has worked well on everything - except my silver E. it just doesn't seem to match well, although nothing else has either.

Called the DR. She said that silver and gold would not be a satisfactory touch up. Hows that for honesty?
