Compass Direction Does Not Show in Rearview Mirror

2009 SLK55 AMG
2013s got no button and no compass in the mirror. It is in the Comand if you want to pull it up or you can overlay it on the NAV but since the NAV gives you either North Up of Heading up it ain't difficult to figure it out.

2016 GLE 63S AMG SUV, 2015 GLA 250 (Previously: 2010 MB E550 (V8, 5.5L))
2010 also - P1 and P2 and compass on the rearview mirror. The first model had it all, baby!

BTW, my '12 had no button on the mirror but I do have compass direction on the mirror
