The dealership improved it a bit with felt and lubrication. I no longer have the car, but I notice it a little in my current 2016 car. I think it is a design flaw. I've never heard the legendary pano noise.
Thanks---while my car was in, I told my SA to felt the back shelf area...we'll see if there is an improvement when I pick it up tomorrow.

Good luck. Mine was not cured, but it was a lot less noticeable.

The 16 seems to do it a lot less, but still makes a little noise back there. Maybe I am used to it. I can go over train tracks without a sound from back there, but sitting in the sun will make it pop. I hope the 213 has different design.

I have a very similar pain as most of you guys have experienced, I have tried to use foam, Velcro and still didn't help much. Once I remove shell speaker cover panel it sounds great, I can't complain. My question is do I need to replace the shelf speaker trim or I have to do something else. All comments are greatly appreciated !!
Thanks

Did it fix your problem by replacing shelf trim cover panel or you had to do something else ?
Thanks
