Hello, my name is Richie and i just pulled a brand new E350 off the lot a week ago and i am experiencing a minor vibration on the gas pedal. This vibration only happens when i start up the car after it sits for a couple of hours. I would put it on drive and lightly step on the gas pedal to accelerate. But it only vibrates for a second. Is this normal?

No worry. Just take it in to the dealer where you bought it. E350 is an excellent car you'll enjoy to own.

There must be something loose. There is no mechanical connection of the pedal to the throttle. It is all fly-by-wire. Does this vibration happen in the brake pedal also? I would have the deal take a look asap.

Think of the throttle assembly as a big switch, with only a couple of bolts holding it to the floor. You can reach down and feel if tho bolts are loose, but I doubt it for such a limited-time effect as you describe.

Drop by the dealer and have your SA or service manager go for a drive. They should be able to fix that right up.
