REAL horsepower numbers?
Hello agian everybody, the engine in the 2007-2011 E350 been the 268 horsepower V6, so we all know that 268 horsepower does not make it to the rear wheels, how much really does? i have searched up the w212 forums and the w211 forums and have not really found anything, other than a AWD E350 dyno in the w211 forum. In that case the car is making 191 horse power, But it is AWD so its getting more HP robbed from it. Anyway what do YOU guys think about this? how much horsepower is the E class making?(the 2007-2011 E classes with the V6)

car is a pig, doesnt matter how much BHP it makes to rear wheels.. pretty pathetic that MB had such low ratings back then...

Loss depends on the efficiency of the drivetrain. Rough estimate for a car with an automatic transmission appears to be around 20% drivetrain loss, so you're looking at around 215 RWHP for 268 at the flywheel.
The best way to find out is to pay a few bucks and get it dynoed.
