The text messages display on the multi media display (radio/nav screen). When you select the phone from the top menu ribbon, then select text messages from the bottom center menu, it will display, and allow you to have texts read aloud. It also emits an audible tone (beep) when texts are received. It worked fine when I first got the car, then stopped working after an update. Now, some months later, and after receiving a later update, it works great again. Hope all of that makes sense.

Cool , I have a request if you don't mind . So, can you see the artist name , track info on the Comand when you use Bluetooth Audio ?
My new phone is SONY XPERIA P with the latest Android software but track info is missing when I use Bluetooth Audio
