One is standard and one is active. They both look like the same color temp and brightness I guess you can have LED lights with reflectors

definitely confused now. Had assumed that reflector style lights were plain halogen bulbs like in the refreshed C class. Didn't know that you could have LED's without the projector style. First time i'm seeing this. Definitely need to see the output in person.

Underneath the bumper cover area where it does have LEDs in pre FL W212s look nice this why FL W212s look dull and empty when you look at them , you feel something is missing . This is why LED strips look nicer and fill the gap , great add-on

Where those pictures meant to show the panel fit issues? I saw fit issues inside and out. However, we tested it back-to-back with a 640ix (the only car the BMW UDE had with the various features) and my wife preferred the MB by a lot. I would concur that the MB felt smaller (they are with in a couple of inches in size and a 100 lbs in weight) and more agile that the 640, but the DDC equipped 640 felt better.
Afterwards, the MB dealer was trying to talk me into a CLS which had a nicer interior, night vision, etc. The CLS isn't much different in price than a comparably equipped BMW 550.

The 6GC is a huge car indeed, but the 640i GC I drove felt like a scalpel (fully loaded), kind of like closer to a "pure BMW" though I kind of preferred my car to it. The CLS550 I was quite unimpressed with inside and out, however even though I felt the ill-matched tranny was holding it back a lot- that motor pulls so hard it actually literally gave me a headache. It just feels like warp-speed, totally quiet, smooth, no feedback inside, just a wafting pull into oblivion.

I wasn't that impressed with the 640GC. I would describe the ride and handling as 'ok'. The E350 really felt more like a sports car by comparison. I'm wondering if IAS wouldn't improve the 640 a bit. But no one anywhere near here has any RWD BMWs, let alone one with IAS. My wife still has fond memories of her second E39 BMW.
The surround view in the BMW is easily the worst among competitors. As if they gave it to a new graduate to design who had no idea what it was supposed to do. The heads-up display is nice. The hold feature works much better than the MB. MB seems to be ahead in the automated safety features, but I haven't been able to try the dynamic cruise control in either model yet.
The Audi diesel is a disappointment. In an A8L it is 24/36. In an A6 it is 24/38. The 328d is 32/45, the 328dx is 31/43. So far all I've seen on the 535d is highway at 38. And nothing on the E250CDI although there are rumors of 45mpg highway. However, I can imagine an E250CDI, with its 21 gallon tank on non-runflat tires, doing NYC-Orlando, just under 1100 miles, on a single tank. The mileage on the European cycle is a bit worse than the 320d (US 328d), but the tank is much bigger. Top Gear once got 800 miles on an 2007 Audi A8, round trip London to Edinburgh and we have gotten around 750miles a few times on an E320CDI that should be 30%-50% worse than the E250CDI in mileage. The computer usually shows around 33mpg on the highway. I did hold well over 40mpg from Herrenchiemsee castle to Munich after a flat tire.
I've got a few threads here (and dealer inquiries) trying to determine details on some of the features including if U09 stitched vinyl covered dash can be ordered or if the US Nappa leather option includes it. The German P34 Nappa leather option does include it as far as I can determine.
