Is BT streaming coming as standard in 2014 model?

I have to activate BT streaming using engineering menu in MY10. The feature seems wasn't completed for early model, it is why it wasn't appeared as standard. Although it works very well with few problems, when I use BT streaming in BMW from my Kamerton program I can see track info and can actually control player from steering wheels controls, but these features are omitted in Mercedes BT. So I hope new model gets BT streaming standard with fixed these two problems. Even with incomplete BT streaming I can say bye bye to iPod and can stream audiophile level recording directly from Android phone.

BT streaming works fine from my 2013 E350. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a newer 2014 model.

I have no problem streaming pandora, or local mp3's from my Samsung GS3/GS4 and my wife's iphone 4.

I am specifically interested if you could control your player from steering wheels controls and name of song you could see on display and dashboard.

Yes I can use the steering wheel controls to skip to next song or reverse to previous song.

and it does display the song title.

What I have found thought is that with the GS4, when you use steering wheel control to mute the BT audio, it mutes it but it keeps the music playing on the phone (no sound) where as on my previous GS3, when you mute it, it pauses the music on the phone, so when you unmute you continue where you left off.

In My 2011 E550, once audio software was updated 2 yrs ago to allow BT Streaming, steering wheel bottom allows you to skip tracks forward or back. On the screen title of songs doesn't appear, only the phrase:"Audio Transmission Active" shows up on the screen when in BTstreaming. But I think, song titles, artist or album artwork showing on the screen is phone dependent. The type of phone you using must capable of pushing the title and artwork to the screen. Some phone will only push just audio. Most Samsung smart will push both audio file, artist, title etc..
