I have returned
I sold my 2012 E350 and bought a 2014 GLK350 and today, I ordered a 2014 E350 with a mid September build date. The GLK is a really great car and I would highly recommend one. There is little to dislike about the GLK but my 5' wife had two serious issues. In order to reach the pedals she had to sit so close to the seat that it could be serious if the airbag ever went off. Ironically, she didn't have that problem in our E350. Her other problem was that she is too short to step out of the car so she would slide down and rug her legs on the rocker panel. That meant that even the smallest amount of dirt got on her legs or slacks. Her solution was to wipe off the rocker panel every time she got out.

The hardest part is the waiting. My replacement E350 was ordered in March and I didn't drive it off the lot until the end of July. Welcome back to the fold and let any of us know if we can be of assistance ...

Waiting is hard but I believe it will be worth it. One thing I'm looking forward to is the 360 degree camera like is on my GLK. I could never tell just where my wheels were in my 2012 E. With the four camera setup I can see where my wheels are tracking along with the clearance for the mirrors.
