I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I was pretty impressed with this when I first saw it. Just imagine how close we are to this technology..

This is going to be a disaster in major cities. The only thing that stops pedestrians from crossing streets right now is the thought that a car will hit them. When all cars are programmed to stop for them, it is going to bring traffic to a halt because people are going to keep going even when the car is supposed to have the right-of-way

. The way things are heading, cars will just be robots with a simple purpose of getting us from A to B and will not make any traffic violations in the process. Driving licenses will not be necessary - you just get in a car and tell it where you want it to take you.
