New E350 4 Matic sport edition on the way
Hi all,
New to this site. Also new to MB ownership. Car will be in Palladium Silver and should arrive mid November. Somewhat excited, but bumbed as I traded a very nice Ferrari F355 spider in for this new daily driver. The ownership costs of the Ferrari and dealing with a callous dealer became more than I could take.
Any 2014 E350 owners out there that can share their ownership experiences?
thanks
Mike

2014 CLS550 4Matic
Welcome Mike! I just upgraded from a 2013 E350 Sport to 2014 E350 Sport 4Matic. You can read my initial impressions here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...50-4matic.html
Besides being a little disappointed in the power/acceleration versus the RWD model, I really like my 2014 and I like the 2014 styling refresh. I too have the Palladium Silver Metallic and it is a gorgeous color - Just love it. I am just about to turn 1000 miles and the car has been perfect. Its super solid and gets lot's of looks.

Welcome! Just upgraded from a 2013 E350 Sport to a 2014 as well (non 4matic). Already at 4500 miles and going to hit 2 months in about 2 weeks. Loved the headlights in terms of vision and the car has been great for me. Zero issues pretty much although I had some moments where my phone doesn't connect to my car. Otherwise, love it!

New 2014 E350 sport RWD here for me too. Just crossed 2600 miles, getting much better mileage than my 2010 E350 did, just under 28 mpg for our last road trip.
I +1 with you about leaving a bad dealership. Bad sales folk ruined the delivery experience, but I do have great service from shop foreman personally. MBUSA did respond to my concerns, but it did little to fix the dealership's poor performance.
Palladium Silver is the way to go for a great looking, and low maintenance color choice.
What other options are on the way?

2014 E 350 4 matic
the other goodies I ordered are:
Black leather/Burl Walnut wood,
Illuminated door sills
Rear View Camera
3-spoke Sport Steering wheel
Split folding rear seats
321 Sport Package
Heated and Active Ventilated front seats
Active Multicontour Driver Seat w/ message
18 inch AMG twin 5-spoke Alloy Wheels
993 Lane tracking package
I'm glad to hear others like the color I chose as other than the brochure I haven't seen a car in the flesh with this color. As for performance I was a little surprised at the acceleration in sport mode considering it is a 4,200 pound car with "only" 300 hp. Then again the good mileage they seem to get is a bonus. My car should arrive mid-November. Quite a wait considering I ordered it in mid August.

My first 2013 was in palladium silver (white was after before this steel grey 2014). As Samkimg said the car is low maintenance for that color and I completely agree. Here's a pic
