i too find the ventilated seats a bit .. useless... i'm 175lbs, 6 foot, and barely feel it.. but I understand these are not "air cooled" seats, just ventilated, which certainly has a purpose as well I guess. Just thought they were cooled.

I too miss the electric folding mirrors (that my 2007 ML-350 has!). I always fold in the mirrors in parking lots and parking garages.

What I do like a lot is that my 2014 E350 has dual sun visors on driver and passenger side. The large visor also extends to fill the gap in the window when the sun comes from the side. I test drove a 2013 BMW 535 before my purchase, and it did not have this.
While not a huge feature, it is one that I use almost every day, multiple times.

agreed... i'm shocked all makes/models don't have this feature.. invaluable and so simple and cheap...

My wish in order of preference:
  1. Folding side mirrors
  2. Speed Alert (convert for US speed signs)
  3. Soft Close doors
  4. HUD

I think you all will get your wishes with the next E if the new S is anything to go by. MBUSA appears to be offering everything the Euros get. Maybe they will offer these things since people are willing to pay for them and the competition is only going to get tougher.

A real sunglass holder....although I do like the penholder under the armrest .. pretty useful as I'm always looking for a pen in the car it seems...

1. Web based nav system (google, etc)
2. Folding mirrors
3. Power rear side shades
4. foot operated open/close trunk
5. HUD
6. A more powerful COMAND system, test drove a BMW 550 and was blown away by how much more you could do with their system.
7. Better computer/phone to car integration. The benz app and such all fail me horribly.

Love the Speed Alert option (as well as the others you listed.... HUD is something I'll always want going forward). Activated it right after I got a speeding ticket and it does help.
