E class seat replacement

I've got a 2013 E550 and love the car. Unfortunately the seats have been hurting my back and many of my passengers are uncomfortable in the car on long distances. I have the multi-contour seat in the drivers seat but it's just not quite up to par.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement seat for my E?

I don't have an answer for you Frank but I also feel your pain. my '10 E550 is absolutely killing my left outer thigh area. The seats in these luxury vehicles are brutal.

Had the same problem on my '14 E350.
First the dealer replaced the bottom foam seat, didn't help.
Then they had a local custom upholstery shop come in, and they added padding to the center section and what I was told shaved some of the left bolster.
Now the seat bottom is flatter, more like older Benz's seats, which fits my butt better. I would get a numb feeling in my left thigh, now I don't. No more fiddling with seat adjust it feels fine now.

Thanks for a solution DRZ! I will need to do something similar then. It's just too uncomfortable.

You have a multicontour seat and still have problems ? .I don't have it and could not help but say wish I could have not skimped on those seats lol
Anyway, may be Nappa leathers must be more comfortable than these , I know not cost effective neither a lucrative deal but W221's seat must be feeling like you sit in 5 star hotel lounge

That's a great idea drz! You're only a couple hours away from me, would it be possible to find out which company did the work? I don't know any around here that I would trust to do it, and it'd be good to find someone familiar with it already.

I'd considered putting a W221 seat in there but I don't think it would fit.

Hey Frank, My dealer Mercedes of Bedford had Dura Mend come in and do the job. They asked me about the discomfort and seemed well versed in this type of problem. They added padding to low center section and shaved down the bolster.
You can do a search of Dura Mend if you can't find the number let me know I try and get it.
