wooden steering wheel - factory or dealer?

My dealer told me that the wood steering wheel is factory only option.
this would be for a 2014 E350 4M sport with the AMG wheels. Is this true or is the sales guy clueless? I cant imagine they don't swap out wheels at the dealer...but I am not the expert so I defer to the usual suspects on this forum for my guidance, thanks in advance.

If you want it that bad, order it through dealership. Regardless of what they say, it is listed as a Part Number. Installation is a breeze and takes about 1/2 hour. Key is to disconnect battery before you remove and reinstall the airbag. It can be done, and I have done it in my BMW and my previous ML that I owned. No issues!
