E550 After Market Wheels

Just picked up a 2014 E550. It had the AMG style 18" wheels on it. I want to stay with the standard wheel diameter. Am I limited to going +1 at 19" or can I got +2 to 20" given there is a factory option for 19"? Has anyone gone to 20s on a car purchased with 18s yet?

There are many members here running 20's.

Cool

Just wasn't sure if everyone is running the same overall diameter as the 18s in which case +2 might greatly affect ride quality.

Or if guys running 20 started with the factory 19" option..

Maybe the right question to ask is whether the factory 18" option and factory 19" option run at the same overall diameter or if when you option the car with 19s it has a larger diameter and the speedo/etc have been calibrated accordingly.

If you have Airmatic then there isn't much of a difference in ride quality. It's noticeable but not significant. If you are only on springs then you will notice a significant drop in ride quality.
Good luck.
yes, most members here that went 20's kept the same diameter.
