Porsche Macan S SportDesign / Ex M-B's: 11 & 10 & 06 E350's, 02 S500
Oh man that would be a big draw for M-B. IMO they never can get their V6's just right. They either feel too coarse and/or sound too harsh and generally don't perform all that impressively. Good, solid engines, but nothing special. An I6 can change all that, especially if done right.

That C63 setup with AWD sounds like an epic combination. That car currently has way too much power at the rear wheels making it nearly impossible to put the power to the ground.

Maybe they'll just simply pull the C36 AMG engine from the storage unit and clean it up.

Not a bad idea the I6. They did it in both the W124 and the W210.

True, six-cylinder W124s had an M103 (early cars) and M104 (1994/5 IIRC) I6. The 1996 W210 used the M104 but was equipped with a V6 starting in 1997 or 1998. While it was smooth and had more power, the M104 was not a trouble free engine - head gaskets and HFM wiring harnesses were two (expensive) problems.
