While MB says not to, I have always used Power Service Diesel Clean Cetane Boost in all my diesels. I put 8 ounces in every forth or fifth fill-up. I always see a slight bump in mpg with PS (the grey bottle). The white bottle is for really extreme cold conditions and has additional anti-gel compounds.

I started using AMSOIL Diesel Injector Clean additive since August.
I added in 4 oz every fill up. Each 16 oz bottle costs around $8.00 and lasts 4 fill ups.
