If you are OCD, then the best procedure is to not let the dealer prep the car. Even if prepped I would wax it. Mine came waxed but I will redo it.

do they come waxed from the factory? or does the factory just slap some paint on it and call it a day?

id recommend taking it home and washing it, and then putting a sealant on it every 3-4 months. taking care of the car yourself is a lot easier than most people think.

What kind/brand of sealant do you use?

Thanks.

Let's say the car that I turned in has smoother paint than the new one I got.
Dealer will only give it a quick wax so it looks good at delivery.

I went home washed / clayed / waxed with my DA system.
