Internet on 2014 e's
I have the new car trial of mbrace and the internet applications. I find mbrace useless (other than perhaps in an accident, if I happen to have one where there is a cell tower, of course). I would like to keep internet capability, although I don't even care much about keeping MB's internet apps.
I could do this on my 2011/2 e350 by making a small change in the engineering menus and tethering to my cell phone. I'd like to do the same for the 2014...but I haven't looked at the engineering menus to see if it's possible....or if MB has somehow hard coded that you can only use their internet connection rather than streaming. I sort of wonder if you even need to pay for mbrace or the internet connection at all....
