Can someone explain Parktronic
Can someone explain how the basic Parktronic works?
The manual has a page and a half dedicated to the option with little or no description of how to operate it, more legal disclosure then it's operation explained. This is option # 235 what seems a useless $970.00 option.

Thanks Greg most helpful.
But I have yet to see the little arrow next to the blue P when I try to setup for a park. It is snowing heavy here today , but I will try again once it clears outside.
Are there two different Park options?
As I stated mine is option # 235 and I seem to be missing the software to prompt me. Might the software not be enabled ?

The difference is you don't have the 360 degree camera system. The Park Assist feature is identical. It needs an extra ft of space on both sides of the vehicle to perpendicular Park and 40 extra inches in length to parallel Park if my memory serves me correctly.
It should pick up parking spots on the passenger side automatically but only show the ones on the driver side if you have your left blinker on.
I used mine to perpendicular park me couple of times but I have yet to have the need to parallel park.
