Special Order Options for 2014 E350 WAGON?

298 - Rear Side Airbags - $420
872- Heated Rear Seats (Requires leather + P01) - $625
That's it. Note that they all carry an additional $250 charge even the no-charge alu trim. The only other SPC options for sedans are Rear side blinds (comes in P01 on the wagon) and the B&O sound package for $6,400. For the AMG you can order B&O on the wagon and for both the wagon and sedan "E63 S" you can order a $3,125 exterior carbon package.
You know, when you look at where the W212 Wagon is in the U.S. marketplace, you can't help but wonder where MB has their head, in the extremely limited way they make this wonderful vehicle available anymore. I would love to order a new E550 Wagon, but it's no longer available. And, if it was, they would shove the "Sports" styling down my throat, not even allowing for the idea that someone who might want a V8, just might want the more traditional design of the "Luxury" styling. So, I might opt for an E350, but I really would like the AirMatic Suspension, but it's not available.
Unless I go for what I feel is the idiotic E63 Wagon, I can't get much of anything better than a plain vanilla E350, and that SUCKS!
I truly believe that MB has lost their minds in not offering this unique vehicle, which pretty much has the market to itself, in a loaded up, luxury V8 model, with all the goodies available on the S Class, but that's just my humble opinion.

The only difference between the E63 or the E550 and the E350 is the engine. I never had a V8 so I might have no idea what I'm missing but the E350 feels plenty powerful and enjoyable for me and the luxury features are all there, the only option you can't get is the B&O sound system.
The E63 is an ultimate sleeper car and if I had the extra $30K to throw down on it I would have gotten it, but I just keep telling myself that the delete of the rear jump seats was the real deal breaker not the $30K
.A fully loaded E350 wagon will top out north of $80K which is getting into obscene money territory, at least for me. Given that they sell less than 2,000 units it made no real sense to bring over something that would fit between the E350 and the E63 on the price scale as the two practically overlap as it is.
I'm just glad that MB still delivers the wagon for us in the US while Audi and BMW chose to exit this segment, a real shame because these cars are truly amazing.
