Owners of E350 BluTec should know that it is still same engine in 2014 S350. That is a proof that the engine is good giving confidence to existing E350 BlueTec owners. I personally love the engine the way it runs.
Very disappointed that MB went with a 4 cylinder vs the 6 in the E for 2014. I'd be putting more consideration into the facelift cars had they not, but I'm sticking with searching for a 2012 or 2013. So they're essentially bringing two different diesel engines to the US? Not sure I get the rationale.

The fact is that the OM651- 4 cylinder in the GLK250 BT and E250 BT is far more fuel efficient than the previous V6 and it reduces the weight over the front axle for improved handling. Yes, the E250 BT is about 0.6 secs slower to 60 mph, but it will go much further on a tank of fuel.
