Anyone running 285/25/20 rear tires on a 2010 w212 e550

Hello all,

Here is what I have planned

Front:
20x8.5
245/35/20 tires front

Rear
20x10 5x112
275/30/20 tires
Tire shop suggested 285/25/20. Does not seem like enough sidewall.

If that will not work any suggestions?

First of all, what are your offsets for the wheels? I'm running front:235x35x20 on a 8.5 wide wheel with -35 offset, rear is: 275x30x20 on a 9.5 wide wheel with the same -35 offset. Front and rear is real flush with this setup, -38 or -40 would probably be better for me since I am lowered quite a bit, but I still don't rub. Do a search in this forum on,"20" wheels", plenty of posts and answers out there.

I'm running 42 offset front on 20x8.5 and 55 offset rear on 20x10 wheels.

I would go 20x9 35offset front with 245/30/20 tires and 20x10.5 40offset rear with 275/30/20.

I would read this it might help. Running the tires mentioned above from D&g might be little off from the factory tire diameter and really throw things out of whack, not sure but check out my post and read the comments.https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ire-sizes.html

Anyone tried offsetting on a 4Matic? In pondering what to buy for my summer tires in a couple months. I am driving an e550 4Matic.
