Hello all, a buddy of mine with a 2010 W212 had a crazy B**** literally kick his column shifter off of the column, wires and all are severed. What would be involved in replacing this? I have a W209 that I've taken apart quite a few times so I'm relatively familiar with the procedures on these vehicles. Thanks for the help guys!

First step would be to insert the broken off piece into the crazy B****'s a$$. Sideways! No clue, but good luck!!

This is a F'd up situation, this girl attacked him, biting, scratching, and kicking from the passenger seat screaming about how she was going to get all of his money for him "beating her" then she started hitting herself. He's known her a while but just figured out she has a bad drug problem now. After everything happened she just hopped out and took off running through a neighborhood. PD had k-9 units looking for her and everything. Still haven't found her, we've been dealing with this since 4 am this morning lol. insane.

The bad news is that the entire steering lever assembly has to be replaced with all levers as it comes as one piece. If you have his VIN I can give you a part number for it but you're looking at $500 or so for the part itself.

The repair would entail removal of the steering wheel and removal and replacement of the steering column module, the $500 piece.
