Question W212 limited slip rear differential

Anyone with experience on upgrading rear differential on W212 to limited slip? I searched the forums but did not find any threads on this.

This is available on E63, but was not an option on my RWD E550. I have a lot of issues on launching without excess right rear tire spin. I am hoping upgrading to limited slip will help. I have seen aftermarket ones from Kleemann and Brabus on their websites.

It would not be an easy upgrade to perform. Currently, the open diff is using braking to emulate an LSD. You would not want this occurring with the physical LSD installed. You would need to change the programming of the ABS, Traction Control, and possibly the ESP.

Not really, the AMG diff only locks 30% or so. It still uses the brakes to balance the power from side to side.
