2014 E550 LED headlight condensation

I took delivery of my E550 two days ago. I noticed condensation on the inside of the headlight lenses and was told by the service advisor that it is normal after washing the car and that it will go away on it's own after running the headlights. He stated that the assembly is vented. Sure enough, it did go away until I washed it again last night. Does anyone here know for sure that this is normal? I would think that an ongoing accumulation of moisture inside the assembly would eventually cause problems.

Lamp units are open system. Ventilation ensures that condensation dissipates after a short period of operation. If no noticeable reduction unit is defective.
