E550 brake rotor P/N changes

I purchased a 2011 E550 in January of 2011.

On June 23, 2011, at 9,185 miles, all four rotors were replaced under warranty for excess runout and pulsing. The part number then was a brand new one, for the front 204-421-11-12. (A post in this forum confirms that was a new part number.)

On January 20, 2014, at 43,306 miles, in a routine brake job as a result of serious pulsing under braking, the front rotors (with serious runout) were replaced with part number 000-421-15-12-07.

So, with three different part numbers in as many years, it sounds like Mercedes has been doing some serious work on rotors --- possibly as a result of frequent cases of warped rotors before their time??? (Actually, at 34,000 miles I can't complain too much.)

Hopefully Mercedes has looked at metallurgy and production to improve the parts. Hopefully . . .
