Hey guys! I have a quick question regarding leather care. When i had my 350, i had MBtex, now since i have a 550, i have real leather. I just used wipes on my 350, now i have no idea what to use. I bought some zymol cleaner and conditioner, but is says that the leather needs to be sealed to use it, so i haven't messed with that yet. Then i bought the Mercedes interior car care kit. It has cockpit lotion, and a window spray. Except i have no idea how to use that either. Is there a specific way to clean the real leather seats? And i know this sounds a bit dumb, but is there any product i can use to keep the new car smell in the car? Thanks in advance guys!

 

I use meguiars leather and vinyl 'cleaner' make sure to get the cleaner only, not cleaner and conditioner...i think I get it at pep boys. Follow up with zaino leather in a bottle, works great and smells like leather. Buddy turned me on to this a few years ago, assume stuff but spendy, and only avail on line. Search reviews on it....

Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner (2 step process, not the one step they sell) has kept my MB and BMW leather in great shape. Easy to buy at WalMart and gentle on leather.

 

I bought this leather care cleaner from Ebay Germany and it works great. Not just clean but also add protection cream on leather.
