Plastidipped my wheels - Looks awesome!

I've been toying with the idea of getting this set of wheels powdercoated ever since I got them a year ago or so. Figured I'd test the waters and plastidip them first and I love it!

I feel like it really gave the E a youthful facelift

I did the same before and the dip started ripping on the curves two months in. They do look nice for a while though.

looks good.. but my opinion is if you do black wheels you should finish the look. Black out the rest of the car.

If it peels off after awhile, is it easy to fix or peel it all off?

its one of those peels where its on the corners of the curves. It's really hard to fix without messing up the thickness. I just took it off because at the end it didn't look that good to me anyways.

I'm new to plastidip. How much does it cost to have this done? Is it hard\possible to have it reversed and go back to the "natural" rims?

PS - I love the look.

Just did my entire rear ( emblems) end on my e class with plasti dip.
Great stuff and it comes right off.

Damn... Your wheels look hella good! I think im going to try this on my wheels as well! Question tho, did you spray the plasti dip with the wheels on the car, or did you take them off?

From what I have read, it can be done either way but most recommend newbies remove the tire..

It's cheap, bought 5 cans for under $40 from plasti dip's Website
