2010 W212 E350 sedan hood ornament?
Was looking at replacing my friends hood ornament with a flat one.

The one on ebay say they clip in easily... the dealer says you need a conversion kit??

You need the 45mm version that fits in the indent, and yes they go easy. You can search on here for addtl details

It took me like two minutes (literally), to pop out the OEM stand-up star one on my 2011 E350 and put in the OEM flat badge (45mm....part # A 204 817 0616). The flat badge just snaps in via a spring-loaded connection. Just have to give it a good push. You will have a small gap on either side of the badge due to the hood indention. Nothing huge though.

he got the larger one, i thin kthe one we got from ebay will fit better...
