is there a way to disable beeps when you either lock or unlock the vehicle?

Yes. There is the option using the little arrow buttons on steering wheel while scrolling through the screens on the odemeter

From the instrument cluster menu:

Go to Settings
Then Vehicle
Then Acoustic Lock

It may be called something different, but that's where you will find the setting.
