Music Search
So I've been trying to get album art to display for music from my ipod in my comand unit following the directions outlined in the thread below:

I've got a 2011 e350 and for some reason the 'search' function is never available as an audio option. Was wondering if A: anyone has been able to successfully load album art. and B: Is there anything special you need to do to allow the search functionality to present itself. I have a hard drive attached via USB.. but no search.

2012 Mercedes E350 Coupe
I have a 2012 E350 Coupe and my album artwork comes directly from my ipod that's plugged in. If the album artwork is on my ipod, it also appears on the screen

As for tracks that are on an external hard drive via USB having album artwork, I'm not sure about this one. Another question is would COMMAND even recognize the album artwork on a hard drive?
Test: Try plugging the hard drive to your computer and see if album artwork pops up when you play the tracks? Both windows media player and iTunes would show this (If they did have album artwork). If you can see the album artwork on your computer then the tracks do have them embedded but in all likely hood, COMMAND doesn't recognize the album artwork when playing from a hard drive otherwise, the issue is that you simply don't have album artwork associated with the files on that hard drive.
