2014 E250 Dead in the Water - Parking Light Indicator?
Hi Folks, We have a 5 month old E250 that simply died in our driveway yesterday. No power to anything except for one little green Parking Light indicator light in the dash. And no the light switch was no set to parking lights, its on auto. No locks, no interior lights no nothing. It was running fine earlier in the day.
Have called MB Roadside but I don't think its a dead battery. It only has 3000 miles on it so I don't think it has to do with DEF being low (no warnings about this). Any ideas?
Thanks!

DEF has nothing to do with the electrical system....lol. A dead battery. It could be a faulty alternator or voltage regulator. Keep us posted.

Interesting that you mention the green indicator light. In my car (2010 model) the green is the indicator for the head lights. Could it be that the head lights did not go off after you parked the car? They should if the switch is on AUTO but could the light relay get stuck or something...?

Yep, It was a dead battery and has been replaced. Great Service from Brumos. Thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the "Service Tech" who just happened to be the chairman of the judging committee at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance which wrapped up here yesterday. Lucky it happened in the driveway and he was available. LOL! MB had quite a lineup of AMG models at the Concours when we went out Saturday morning for Cars and Coffee. Cheers!

Based on you seeing the green light on the cluster if it really is the head light indicator I would be checking that the lights really go off after the delay...
