Wheel Advice

Hello all, I am looking for some advice on wheels. Before anyone gets up in arms I tried to find the thread that was already posted but have been unsuccessful so here is the story. I purchased a 2010 Cpo E350 last year but because of my job I have barely had a chance to drive it, I am going to put rims on it when I get home next month and want to know what the experts thing about the sizes that I'm being offered.

I can get either 18X7.5 or 20x8.5 for both the front and the rear. I also seen somewhere that because I have a 4matic that the staggered set up is not recommended but I believe the car's stock setup is staggered. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your Service. For the sake of a smoother ride, I would go with the 18's. In my opinion, the 20's do not provide enough rubber between road and car. I have the same car as you but, I have the staggered setup. Stay Safe!!!

Firestopper, if you don't mind me asking what is your current set up? I have read so many threads on here that say you shouldn't have a staggered set up if you have a 4matic. I like the way my car leans with the current set up and would like to keep it that way when I add the rims.

Larry, my car is not a 4Matic, It has the factory setup with the Sport Package and 18" AMG Sport Wheels. Info directly from Owner's Manual. Looking at tire setups in the Owner's Manual, I see no reference to staggered sizes in 4Matic's. I hope this helps.
