I have just two days ago bought my E200 BlueEFFICIENCY CDI (year 2010). There two CD's inside already and the music plays fine but none of the buttons to switch over to Radio or eject the CD do not work. All the buttons around the ON button don't seem to work.

I can fast forward songs, adjust the volume and turn it on and off.
When I first start the car, if I push the the round Command controller on the armrest then I am able to switch from one CD to another or adjust the sounds, bass etc. If I then push any buttons such as radio or eject button or any of the numbers then the Command controller does not work either and I can only fast forward songs.

Does any one have any ideas??

May be a software issue inside the command unit. As most others are probably going to suggest, you should take it to the dealer to get checked.

I know this is an old thread and didn't get much out of it, but I'm having the same problem with my 2010 w204. Every figure out what caused it ?

Hi just to find out if you were able to solve the problem as my W204 has the same problem. Started after I removed Radio to replace fuse at the back of the radio. The background lights for all the buttons around the Radio section are not working too.
