How to determine version of Comand

Hi, I just picked up a 2011 CPO E350 and a newbie in this forum. Before I bought the car, I did much of my research right here and found much useful and valuable information. Now that I have my new toy, which I absolutely love, I read that in 2011 there was an upgrade in the firmware (I think) to the NAV and Comand system from NTG 4 to NTG 4.5. I was wondering if anyone knows how I could check this on my new baby.
Thanks

From what I have read the NTG 4/NTG 4.5 names refer to the hardware and not the software. In that regard the easiest way to tell the difference:

NTG 4.0= PCMCIA Memory Card Slot (about as wide as a credit card)
NTG 4.5= SD Card Slot (about as wide as the 30-pin iPod connector)

As far as software versions, the most current version will have bluetooth as an option in your device listing. And the easiest way to get the dealer to upgrade the software is to complain of poor call quality.

Thanks. Mine has the PCMCIA slot so it's a 4.0 :-(
