Outdoor Temp Stuck on 68 degrees

My 2013 E350 outside temp guage is stuck on 68 degrees. I can't locate where the sensor is...which fog light???? Saw that mentioned somewhere on forum. Can I fix it myself without taking out the light?

Don't know how to fix it, but mine did the same thing --- stuck at 66 degrees. Dealer fixed, warranty.

On a 2011 E550. p/n 007-542-13-18 "Temperature Sensor." $14 A pointy black plastic thing held in a bracket. No idea where located, but they said it was a quick fix. A blog years ago had: "Look under the front of the car on the driver's side, you should see a black thing protruding from a lower body panel. That is the sensor and it can become unplugged, loose, or go bad. I'd check the connection or tighten it first and if that doesn't help replace it." Don't know if it applies now.

Thank...

Thanks.....So was this a quick fix or did you have to leave the car at dealer?
