I recently purchased an E550 and love it. I've been doing some research on how to lower the vehicle without spending thousands on lowering modules. I'm going to be purchasing lowering links and I've also been told that the suspension voltage can be adjusted using SDS.

Has anyone lowered their car through SDS?

I found a thread about this topic but it is for a w211, I wonder if it will be the same for a W212 . The first post is about lowering the car fyi

Yes you can lower w212 also same way as w211 with star.
I just do that on my car, front about 15mm and rear ~30mm, that is max what i get lowered on my car.

Thanks so much for the response, I'm going to give this a shot sometime soon in addition to adding lowering links.

Lowering links are the way to go. You can pick them up for $200-300 and takes only 45mins to install.
