2010 C300 tranny noise (maybe someone on e class forum can help)
No one on the c class forum can help so I thought maybe someone on this forum might have more knowledge on my 2010 C300
I get a single knock/pop noise after coming to a complete stop
When I am in gear going 40 MPH per hour and coming to a complete stop I hear this single knock/pop noise and it sounds like its coming from the front passenger area of the engine. When I put the transmission into NEUTRAL while going 40 MPH and coming to a complete stop there is NO single knocking/popping noise.
I tried this exercise several times.
My car is almost out of warranty and I hope it's not a sign of a tranny problem. I would at least like it to be documented by Mercedes.
