Has anybody owned both the 2013-2014 C3004matic and the 2012-13 E3504matic? And if so which one would you buy knowing that the new E is around the corner and the E would lose value? I know I prefer the E's ride and quietness and looks but the C has already taken the depreciation hit of the new model and I prefer the size of the C. Not a big guy and I never have anyone in the back seat. What is prompting the question is the local dealer has a certified P1 multimedia 2014 C3004matic with 11k for 30K.

They all lose value by the month. I would just prefer the E because it has certain options available on it that aren't available on the C. Also if you look at the prices of a C vs an E, the C isn't that much cheaper, probably because it's a little more affordable than an E. I'd look for an E with the P2 package. The Bixenons were available on the C, but they didn't have the active curve illumination and I don't think it has the adaptive cruise control. I think Nav was also extra on the C, on the E it was part of the P1 package which most cars had. Then again, it's pretty hard to find a model that has lots of options, seems that the ones the dealer orders typically just have some of the basic options.
