Pull-Forward only 13 months in?
Curious to know if you've ever been contacted by your dealer asking if you were interested in moving into a newer model only a year into a lease. I have a 2013 E350 (love it) and at only 13 months in (24 mo lease), my dealer is saying I could move into a 2014 easily for very little more per month.
Is this common with MB? With BMW their pull-ahead was 3-6 months depending on the deal at the time.

It depends if the dealer has someone looking to purchase your car.
I once had a BMW on a 36 month lease, 12 months into it the dealer called and wanted to get me into a newer model for the same monthly payment and no $ down. Turns out they had a buyer looking for a slightly used vehicle that my car just perfectly matched what they wanted in terms of color and options and the dealer made decent money selling it to them as a CPO.
So maybe your dealer has someone looking to purchase the exact vehicle you have and that's why they want to move you into a newer model.
