Will the new e350 2014 tail lights fit and work properly if I put them in the 2013 e350

This has been brought up before, but no definitive answer and I'd like to see someone get it done! I believe they should actually fit, but the connections wouldn't work and you'd have to change out all the wiring. It is not plug and play from what I recall.
