Dear all, I have had this light, as circled in the photo, but one of them lights up while the other's not. at times, the "lighted" one will turn off too, does anyone know what light is that for?

any switch for that? I cant seem to find one.

thank you (:

See if they go on and off when you turn the wheel, might be the cornering light that reflects, and lights up the inside of the corner more while turning.

How is it possible to take a picture of the light when you're cornering?
And at such a close up angle too!

I thought cornering light only activates when you have the turn signal on and driving at a slow speed with the steering wheel turned in the direction of the turn?

They also activate when sitting still in drive or reserve when the wheel is turned. Notice that all the time in the driveway.

Another detail is that the light comes ON on the side where the front of the car moves to, i.e. when forward gear is on it comes ON on the side where you turn the steering wheel to but this reverses with the reverse gear as the front of the car obviously moves in opposite direction than where the steering wheel points to.

got it! yes it changes with the direction of the wheel when the driver sits in it.. I took the pic while someone is sitting inside and reversing. Thought it was some fault as only "one side lighted up" but after reading all your comments, yes, it did change with the steering wheels. such a cool feature haha! thanks again everyone! (:

I find the cornering lights to be a nice feature.
